The league has released the schedule until week 14 and all that has been added to the web site for everyone to view. In order to get there, view the 'game day' button at the top of each page, or click here. Also, all the results that are on the MVCL web site as of this posting, are now on the Meraloma's web site, including direct access to scorecards for each game.

The next project I'm taking on if a stats project for each player of the club, that will hopefully be up at some point next week. We will be linking in with the MVCL's system for statistics, and it's hoped this will provide club members a one-stop shop for checking in on their progress throughout the season.

A couple of social events organised by the club have been announced. The 2009 Dues Night, for all paid up members, will be held Saturday May 9th, 2009. It will be held at the Loma Dome, starting at 7pm. Also announced, is the Rookie's Night, for all new and old members of the club to welcome the club rookies. This event is held at Moose's Down Under on Saturday June 6th. There is a cost of $5, however with that you'll get free appy's and drink specials. Be sure to turn out to these events and support the club!

The start of the cricket season is less than a week away. If you wish to be selected for next weekend's games we encourage you to attend training this Tuesday so the Selection Committee can consider you for selection. The Selection Committee typically selects the teams for the weekend on the Tuesday prior to each game. Training is on from 5:30 pm onwards from Tuesday and Thursday of each week at Connaught Park so we encourage you to attend. New members are of course welcome!

Just for this week, outdoor training is on this Wednesday April 8 starting at 5.30pm at Connaught. The weather forecast is looking good… After this week, we will start the usual Tuesdays and Thursday training schedule.
