Blood was spilt and angry words were exchanged in this battle for the division lead. How exciting does that sound? Unfortunately, these were the only snippets of excitement that were seen at Connaught on Sunday. My old man used to say, “A fast game’s a good game”. He would have loved the ass-kicking that took place at Minoru on Saturday. For the first time this season the toss was actually won by Stu Grills – the cricket Gods were clearly smiling down on the Loma II’s as the Sunday match begun.
